Thank you so much for the hip pouch idea. When I ordered my autoharp, I requested the buttons so I could use a strap, but they were never put on. I am too nervous about having someone put them on now due to the need to drill holes to install them. The hip pouch will be perfect for me as I have no intentions of ever standing to play. I had read about the hip pouch a few years ago but then my computer crashed and I lost the link. I am so glad that I found your link. 🙂

You are most welcome, Susan! Like you, I don’t want holes drilled into my autoharps, either. BUT, the beauty of the hip pouch is that it allows the autoharp to balance on the player without arm help, frees the entire string-arm side of the body, increases endurance when playing and magnifies the autoharp’s resonance. Pretty good, huh?

  • Hey, Lynne Riday great to see you still playing! I asked about you in WCC Alum group and Nancy sent me here.
